Cornelius Dufallo’s Dream Streets
“…an absorbing exercise in communicating a mindscape…the atmosphere they create is palpable.” – The Washington Post
DREAM STREETS, composed and performed by Cornelius Dufallo draws inspiration from the beauty and symbolism of the New York nightscape. Both urban and organic, the acoustic and electronic interweave to create tides of a dramatic, unconscious narrative. Praised by the New York Times as one of the “new faces of new music,” Dufallo is well known for his solo work and his past work with the amplified string quartet ETHEL. Commissioned film by Carmen Kordas. Performed at the HIFA festival 2012 in Zimbabwe, and at the Atlas Theater in Washington D.C. in 2013.
